His professional practice focuses mainly on corporate and telecommunication law matters.

He has graduate degrees in Telecommunications Law and Management (Universidad Externado de Colombia), and in Bank and Finance (Escuela Superior Politécnica, Guayaquil).

He has taught Fundamental Notions on Business Law at Federico Santa María Business Administration School in Guayaquil as well as Seminars on Wills and Estates at Universidad Católica de Guayaquil School of Law. 

Given his knowledge and experience in telecommunication matters, in 1999 he was appointed Legal Vice-president of Pacifictel S.A., the most important phone company in Ecuador.  He has been legal counselor for the Ministry of Agriculture of Ecuador and for the Urban Development Fund of Guayaquil.  As a law student, he was very active in university issues with a well recognized performance and notorious leadership.

He is member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
